II) Education:

Primary, Secondary and High School: all attended in Erbil, Iraq.

The Medical School: University of Salahaddin, M.B.Ch.B. 1996-1997.

Hi Diploma in General Surgery: University of Sulaimani – 2006-2007.

Fellow of Iraqi Commission for Medical Specialization: FICMS in General Surgery 2003-2008.

III) Duties and responsibilities:

I have been working in the above hospital for the four years. The hospital is 100-beds general hospital. I am currently working as a general surgeon and liver transplant surgeon in that hospital.

Daily I am performing a comprehensive and problem -focused histories and physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiographic studies, educating and counseling patients, performing minor surgical procedures, performing most of the general surgery procedures, second surgeon in liver transplant team, assisting with call, rendering emergency care, facilitating patient referral to the appropriate physician or agency, conducting research and drug studies and prescribing medication in most states.
